Aisling Clancy

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I completed a Medical Doctorate at Queen’s University in 2011 and residency training at the University of Ottawa in 2016. I also completed subspecialty fellowship training in urogynecology, female pelvic medicine, and reconstructive surgery in Ottawa in 2019. I hold a master's of science (MSc) in chemistry and a masters of public health (MPH) in epidemiology.

My academic focus is in research but I am also involved in quality improvement and resident education at the Ottawa Hospital. My research interests include patient perceptions of care, predicting and preventing surgical complications, and developing strategies to optimize the delivery of urogynecology care. I see women for urogynecologic, gynecologic and obstetrical care.
