Katherine Bonhomme

Dr. Katie Bonhomme is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. She completed her Medical Doctorate at the University of Toronto in 2015, and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2022 at The University of Ottawa. Dr. Bonhomme then completed a 2-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at The Ottawa Hospital and simultaneously completed a fellowship in Simulation Education at the University of Ottawa Skills & Simulation Centre. She is currently completing a Master’s in Health Professions Education at Queen’s University.

Dr. Bonhomme’s clinical practice includes obstetrics and urogynecology. Her academic focus is in medical education, particularly with regards to surgical skill development and simulation education, and she is also involved in quality improvement initiatives.
