Melin Peng-Franklin

Melin Peng Franklin is a Generalist Obstetrician and Gynecologist at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus. She completed her undergraduate education at Queen’s University and subsequently completed medical school at the University of Toronto. She completed a Masters of Science in Systems Leadership and Innovation at the University of Toronto concurrent with her MD. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University. Between her undergraduate and medical school degrees, she worked at The Ottawa Hospital I obstetrical clinical research for a number of years. Clinically, she has a special interest in surgical management of benign gynecology, colposcopy and comprehensive obstetrical care. Academically, she has a vested interest in physician leadership along with equity, diversity and inclusivity.
