Dr. John Lamensa

Dr. John Lamensa obtained his medical degree at the University of Toronto in 1996. He undertook residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queen’s University and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2001. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Lamensa has his hospital-based practice at the Civic campus of the Ottawa Hospital, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he has been on staff since 2002. His scope of practice includes Obstetrics, Gynecology and Gynecological surgery. His colposcopy practice is based at the Dysplasia Clinic of the Queensway Carleton Hospital. He is involved with undergraduate and resident clinical teach in the office and hospital.
