Karen Visser

Dr. Karen Visser received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2009. She completed sub-specialty training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Visser in a member of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ottawa Hospital Civic campus. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and is active in medical education at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. While Obstetrics is her main focus, she does include general office gynecology within the scope of her practice.
